My favorite thing to do at night before crawling into bed is my nighttime skincare routine for glowy skin. I have combination skin and struggle particularly with dryness on my chin. After years of trial and error with many different products, I feel like I’ve finally found the right products that don’t cause breakouts or strip my skin of moisture. You know the saying, “Less is more.”? Well, this definitely rings true in the skincare department for me! Here are the products I use every night, right before bed.
Make up Remover
These makeup removing wipes are great for all skin types, and they remove makeup effortlessly (even waterproof mascara!) They have been my go-to for many years now. I love that these wipes are free from harsh chemicals, dyes, alcohol, and perfumes and are also non-comedogenic.
I’ve been using this cleanser from Vanicream for over a year now, and it has been my holy grail face wash. It’s free of parabens, dyes, is non-comedogenic, and is the perfect gentle cleanser, everyday use.
I discovered this AHA serum from Farmacy a few months ago, and it has been a game-changer for the texture of my skin. I used to get tiny bumps on my chin that wouldn’t go away with any products I tried in the past, and this serum has pretty much cleared up the bumps completely! I love the way my skin looks the next morning after using this serum.
This moisturizer is heavier than most, but it doesn’t make your skin greasy or oily. I struggle with getting dry spots on my chin, and this has kept my skin from flaking under my makeup. It’s pretty pricey, but a good investment that will last well over a year.
For a more affordable moisturizer, another one I love is the IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream. I used sample packs of this before Christmas while waiting for the Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream, and I would have 100% purchased this. It’s not quite as heavy but is just as good at keeping your skin hydrated.
