A Tour of My Pax Wardrobe from IKEA

This post is long overdue, but I wanted to finally give you a little tour of my Pax wardrobe from IKEA! It took a long time, a year to be exact, to figure out what to put in our spare room. My husband has his “man cave” so it was pretty much my call on what went in the spare room. After browsing Pinterest for ideas, I fell in love with the aesthetic of wardrobes. I really wanted one to decorate and keep my clothes in. So, for my birthday, my present was going to IKEA to pick up all of the pieces to build my very own wardrobe!

I built my wardrobe online with the IKEA Pax Planner. This program allows you to build and customize the design of your wardrobe and/or closet system. You can drag and drop each piece to get a visual and know exactly how the finished product will look. Another benefit of using the Pax Planner is that it will give you: an itemized list of which pieces you need, how many of each, and you can track the total cost as you build it. Being able to track the cost is VERY helpful because you can pick and choose which pieces to swap out in order to lower the cost if you’re trying to stay within a certain price range.

I’m so happy with how it turned out! If you’re looking to design your own wardrobe or closet system and plan to build it yourself, I highly recommend checking out the Pax Planner here. The process was so easy, and it really was fun to put together despite the many pieces.

I hope you enjoyed this tour of my Pax wardrobe from IKEA. To read more home decor posts, check out my recent blog post about our Bedroom Decor Refresh

I love this for capsule wardrobes. Do you keep your out-of-season clothes elsewhere since you don’t need easy access to them daily?

Looks great! Did you use the 29″ panel or the 39″? I have 3 – 29″ side by side and can not figure out how to organize it. Everything is sold out on IKEA anyway so at least I have plenty of time to think about it.
